Helmet Wappen. This is the correct insignia for German Enlisted Army Soldiers from Braunschweig(IR92) for use on the1914 Pickelhaube helmets.

Helmet Plate, as you see in the first couple of pictures the
repro
plate fits perfectly on my original felt Pickelhaube helmet in the grommets.
The helmet is not for sale, just being used for display.
This Wappen features the Peninsula Totenkopf and Fuerst above the skull. On a normal Prussian plate the word in the middle would be Koenig.
These are  copied from an original piece and made to appear original on the front, on the reverse you will be able to tell they are reproductions. They are made with brass screw back fasteners and marked
Repro
. The measurements are about 5 x 4 1/2 inches.
The helmet plate have been slightly curved to fit on my helmet, you may have to slightly shape your item to your helmet.
These plates are made a little thicker on the back then the originals for added support. From the front it will be hard to tell if its original or repro, only you will know.
These are proudly 100% made in the USA!
