Vintage Formfit Brassiere Co. Girdleiere Pink Lace Corselet Girdle Garters
This vintage Formfit Brassiere Co. Girdleiere pink lace corselet girdle garters dates from the 1930s. It is made of a pale pink cotton rayon damask weave brocade fabric with a striped woven design and filet lace top. This unique underpinning Girdleiere corselet foundation garment has both bra and girdle elements, with a sheer lace bra top, linen shoulder straps, elastic gusset panels on the side hips, four attached stocking garter suspender strap tabs, hook closures along the side, is unlined and has a "Formfit Brassiere Co. Girdleiere" label Size 36 tag sewn inside. The Girdleiere measures 26 inches long, with a 32 inch chest, 28 inch waist and 36 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only a few faint small stains and slight discoloration. This is truly a wonderful piece of underpinnings wearable art!
