STEUBEN SPECIAL FROG 1970 LLOYD ATKINS DESIGN SHAPE 5500

Description

We are pleased to offer this hard to find Steuben Special Frog. The Special Frog is a 1970 Lloyd Atkins design and was the first of the Special Animals. The Specials pre-date the hand coolers and were Steuben’s attempt to produce a series of smaller, lower price animals. The Special Animals were hand-made. They were eventually replaced by the hand coolers which are molded.
This example is in excellent condition. It is signed Steuben followed by a small “g” which is typical for the Special Animals. It is 3 and 1/4” long with no dings or scratches.
