    Description

For auction is a wonderful piece of Art Glass blown by The Steuben Glass Company of Corning, New York. The item is a vase and it is done in Frederick Carder's most desirable Blue Aurene style of art glass. The vase is a nice size as it stands 6 1/2" tall and is 5 1/2" in diameter.
This vase has that classic Grecian urn shape and it displays an outstanding blue iridescence that rivaled L.C. Tiffany's Favrile style of art glass. The Blue Aurene iridescence is about as good as it gets. The brilliant blue iridescence is silky smooth to the touch and eye candy to the eyes. I call this particular my velvet blue vase.
The vase is considered to be in excellent to mint condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. I really can't find anything wrong.  There isn't even minor wear on the underside bottom. The piece is signed on the bottom with the etched "Steuben" signature cipher. I believe this is shape number 2683 in the Steuben catalog pages. It is similar to shape 2648 but i don't believe it is that shape as that shape tends to me more squat.
Those of you who collect Steuben Blue Aurene will surely welcome this wonderful vase into your collection. I'm sure the buyer will be happy for many years with your purchase. Based on the s
ignature mark this cabinet vase was made circa 1917-1928.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
    merchandise
    unless it is paid for.
    They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.7% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.7%. This is an increase of 8.8% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.7% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
