1.7 True Jinashi Shakuhachi, made from 45 year old Japanese madake bamboo, root end in one piece. Base pitch E-flat, tuned to A-432Hz. Clean tuning over 2+ octaves.
Flute has a strong but sweet sound (sound samples on request). Dense bamboo walls and beautiful mold pattern gives a classic feel, a truly unique instrument for advanced student
and professional levels.
Utagushi inlay buffalo horn. Inside bore is coated with black low allergic urushi lacquer dried over a period of three month now. The outside has a once over light urushi coat, the root-end sanded down and covered with several coats of urushi.
Flute comes with a light carrying pouch.
