We find that most young children are focused on driving any and all vehicles on a road, and are not concerned about the scale of the road. Older children (6+) and adults tend to appreciate the engineering accuracy of 4” wide PlayTape which is scaled so a typical Hot Wheels car fits in a lane. PlayTape is made with a low-tack adhesive tape. It is similar in stickiness to painter’s tape. (And, as such, PlayTape makes a great kid’s painter’s tape!) PlayTape is not as sticky as duct tape, packing tape, scotch tape, or even masking tape. It is not meant to hold things together or hold things up. All tapes – including PlayTape – increase in stickiness over time. If you leave PlayTape stuck for days or weeks at a time, it will become increasingly sticky and stuck to the surface.
