    DESCRIPTION:
Pair of antique art glass compotes.
By STEUBEN, Corning, NY.  Shape #7032.  Mouth blown transparent amethyst and colorless glass.  Amethyst engraved to colorless bowl and stem.  Engraved in a floral pattern ("Harvard" I believe).  Inverted baluster stem.  Colorless clear foot with a folded edge.
    Markings:  none found.
    1st quarter 20th century.  USA.
See my other listings for matching champagne coupes.
    CONDITION:
These compotes are in excellent original condition with no damage and no significant wear.  No restorations.
No nicks, chips, flakes, fleabites, cracks, bruises, dings.  No scuffs or significant scratches.  No staining, scale or residue.  No interior wear to speak of.
These compotes appear to have only been handled with great care.
Some typical, very light handling wear:  light shelf wear to the underside edge of the foot.
    Very clean as found.
On close inspection you may detect a few tiny production-related flaws typical of mouth blown glass:  a few tiny black or white inclusions in the bowls;  a few scattered tiny bubbles (no burst bubbles).  Consult photos.  Nothing significant or conspicuous.
