    .
At approx. 8 inches tall by 4 inches wide and approx. 4lbs, this
    Steuben Wild Turkey Decanter
    is crystal clear with
no nicks, no chips, no scratches or signs
of use to the glass, never held liquid and no display wear
.  This is fully signed "steuben" in script with the edition number.  The vintage red leather gold tooled gift box is in very fine condition too!!  A statement addition for the best whiskeys for your own bar or office or a gift for someone to honor or to seal an important transaction. (A pair of these decanters is shown in the fourth photo above, the Wild Mallards on the right is available separately, this listing is for the Wild Turkey Decanter only.)
This was the first design in a series of six different game birds.  In 1985 two designs were released (this design and Wild Mallards).  Followed in 1986 by Pheasant and Quail, and in 1988 by American Woodcock and Canada Goose. These were limited to editions of 100 each but Steuben never completed these editions so fewer than 100 each were made.  I have some of these other game bird designs also in new condition if you are interested in a pair. Contact me via eBay messages for more details.

I have set a very fair price for this wonderful rare Steuben masterwork/design
    .
Hand engraved designs were Steuben's most expensive masterworks.  At the time of their closing in 2011 the least detailed copper wheel engraved pieces started at 00 and up.
Steuben Glass was founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. Recognized as the world's foremost artisan glass house, Steuben glass was hand made by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY.  Steuben glass was frequently the United States’ gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no “seconds”. Items that did not meet their exacting production standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand and the ultimate in art glass.
