    BEAVER FAMILY
    with Gemstone Eyes
    designed by Lloyd Atkins
    It's a FAMILY AFFAIR!!
For the serious collector, offered here are beloved designs by the late Lloyd Atkins (creator of Steuben's favorite animals) mouth blown of the purest heavy crystal with glistening red garnet gemstone eyes.
Beavers are wonderful parents devoted to their kits and of course, master engineers, creating ponds and wetlands that form a foundation for many other birds and animals' survival. This family of four would be a gorgeous addition to your home--or a treasured gift for someone you love--the special anniversary, birthday gift or for your own displays--do you really need an excuse to add to your Steuben collection.
These four (4) expressive art glass sculptures, Mother, Father and pair of kits are in
    new/undisplayed
    condition with
no chips, no cracks, no scuffs and on the
closest inspection, no scratches on the body or base
bottoms.  Each is correctly signed "Steuben" in script on the base bottom.
These will be packed in their fine authentic Steuben gift box* each wrapped in it's flannel Steuben bag with care booklet. The winning bidder will be thrilled with these works of glassmaking artistry.
    This very heavy Steuben
    Beaver Family
weighs approx. 16 lbs!!  The upright "Mother" is just over 6" tall, the horizontal "Father" is 9" long.  The kits are 5" tall and 5.5" long respectively.  (if you have a larger family and need more kits, contact me via ebay messages.)
    This Steuben
    Beaver Family
is listed with a fair buy it now price for Steuben sculptures of outstanding design
    new in
    box
    and
below Steuben's last retail for this set
    .
Steuben Glass was the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranked as the world's foremost artisan glass house. Steuben glass was handmade by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY and was frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no "seconds". Items that did not meet their exacting standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand and the ultimate in art glass.
Please email me if you have any questions.  Thank you for considering this wonderful Steuben Beaver family and please see my other Steuben and art glass listed on

    I pay
    Ebay
extra so that you can enlarge the photos, please do so and take a closer look at the details in this beautiful art glass family.
This are Steuben designs #8306, #8307,
#8359 and #8360 and appear in the 2003 edition of the MJ Madigan Steuben reference book
    An American Tradition in Crystal.
My goal is to locate and offer superb collectible gift worthy/new Steuben Glass at a fair price.
Due to it's highly refractive nature, base bottom display wear and scratches tend to be magnified throughout these glass sculptures
and can be annoying--this is why "scratch free" condition is the goal for collectors and those making a gift of Steuben Glass
*there are several eBay sellers offering used Steuben items with after market boxes and bags that are not original to authentic made in USA Steuben, the font style and logo are wrong. It is a nice touch to offer a box but they do not mention that it is not the authentic Steuben packaging for the collectibles.  Also, having a box does not make the item scratch free, new or gift worthy.
