It rings, you can talk on it, its excepts calls, everything is fine with the exception that when you attempt to dial out it only gives you beeping sounds which i did some research on and found out that vintage mickey mouse phones need to have some wires reversed to work which i did not want to do. .here is the article.. for your research..
