I have watched people do this for years, we even had a friend do it one time, well he found out the hard way why this is a No-No. This method puts a big strain on just two of the batteries and shortens their battery life. Drawing power on just two batteries hurts the life of the rest of the batteries as well. This method can also create a weird ground loop inside the vehicle. This is an electrical NO-NO to hook up accessories this way. My friend learned his lesson after he burnt out a radio, amplifier and a set of lights. Not such the cheap easy way of hooking up accessories. This way is not the right method and is not worth the risk of A SERIOUS ELECTRICAL FIRE !!!
