    Description

    You are looking at a really nice "My First Train Set" by Lionel. The set comes with a battery operated train engine, 2 matching (Southern Railroad) cars, 15 sections of track (it forms a
    23" x 40" oval), a Lionelville train station and platform. The train engine is 5" long, 2.75" wide and about 3.5" high - a great size for little hands. The train engine is motorized (foreward motion only), has been tested and it runs great (please see NOTE - below). The train will require 2 standard "AA" size batteries (not included).  The battery compartment is clean and free of any battery acid leaks.
    The train station has a crack on the base (see picture) which I repaired/reinforced with a strip of clear polystyrene on the inside where is it less visible.
    NOTE:
    Lionel has a custom version of this set that has sound. This set does NOT have sound but Lionel uses the same pieces for both sets so there is a non-functional button on the engine as well as a non-functional ATM keyboard button in the train station.
