GERMAN WWI IMPERIAL NAVY LINE OFFICERS DRESS BROCADE BELT & BUCKLE - REPLICA

Description

This is a  fully functional replica German WWII Kriegsmarine / Navy line officer’s brocade / parade belt and buckle.  The front of the belt, which is 45 mm wide, is constructed using fine woven silver synthetic silk thread. It has the correct two stripe pattern and is backed with heavy navy blue wool felt cloth on the reverse side.  The belt has two “sliders” for adjustment.
Fully extended with a three-inch overlap at both ends and sliders attached, the belt measures  50 inches.  The buckle end is sewn.  The other end is un-sewn, allowing a wide range of adjustment.   The belt can be worn over the tunic or greatcoat.  It is fully adjustable without modification, and both ends are finished, so it is "ready-to-wear."
The buckle has excellent detail and measures just under 55 mm across and weighs 64 grams with both keepers attached.
