    Description

    This is a very nice replica of the German / Prussian Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Medal, the Centenary Medal, in German:
    Kaiser-Wilhelm-Erinnerungsmedaille.
    The medal
    It  was established in 1897 by
    Emperor Wilhelm II to commemorate
    the 100th Birthday of his grandfather, Wilhelm the First.
    All members of the German Army, including the armies of the various kingdoms and duchies and states, received the medal.
    This is a well-made, heavy (32 grams) medal.  Unlike some replicas, it is not shiny,  The original medals were made of bronze from captured enemy cannon. Each medal comes with a six-inch length of high-quality German-made ribbon - 30 mm width.
