PROPERTIES Simethicone is an inert substance, devoid of systemic action and that develops a foaming or antiflatulent effect, through surfactant actions, reducing the surface tension of gas and air bubbles located in the gastrointestinal tract; with which the gas bubbles present in the intestine are broken, thus producing belching and the release of gas rectally. INDICATIONS Prophylaxis and treatment of flatulence and colic, secondary to the excessive presence of gases in the intestine. In addition, to reduce the presence of gases in the gastrointestinal tract before proceeding with sono-radiographic studies.

Gastop® Drops
• Children under 2 years: 0.5 mL (½ dropper) 3 to 4 times a day after
food and bedtime at night.
• Children older than 2 years: 1 mL (1 dropper) after meals and at the same time
to sleep at night.
