Bushcraft ferrocerium rod with beautiful yew wood handle ferro rod firesteel

Description

Take a good look at the pictures.
practice lighting cotton balls if you have never used a ferrocerium rod.
The ferro rod is 1/2 inch diameter and 3 1/2 inches long exposed. Half inch is inside the handle.
Handcrafted in the USA.
The handle has a lanyard hole.
The handle is 3 inches long and about 3/4 inch thick in the middle.
. Excellent for a knife sheath or a back up ferro rod.
The handle is made of beautiful Pacific yew wood.
The handle is finished with sanding sealer, Ack's sanding wax, Ack's polishing wax and Shellawax friction polish.
I have included a small striker but I recommend a striker with a sharp 90 degree edge.
When using the supplied striker, use the edge with a bur not the serrated edge.
