eautifully carved expressive African wooden mask of the Nigerian IDOMA tribe.
This female mask has a beautiful white patina and is decorated with tribal figures in the face. It is decorated with white, red and brown kaolin.
Face masks are worn by dancers during funerals, typical for them are specific shape of scarification, open mouth and smooth coiffure.
Good condition, with some wear and tear and possible traces of use. Take a good look at the pictures.
