Natural standard open-end U-shape mouthpiece

and has the Buddhism engraving
(see pic. # 4, 6)
which says --
唵嘛呢叭咪吽
-- Ong mā nī bēi mēi hòng
** Note (interpretation): This is the Mantra of Great Mercy and Great Guangyin Bodhisativa, symbolizing the compassion and blessings of Bodhisativa. With subtle and inconceivable merits, boundless samadhi methods, all the vajra protectors, all of them like to support them, if this mantra is attached to the body, touched in hand, hidden at home, or booked at the door, all will turn into auspiciousness and perish. Chengxiang, all requirements are met.
This DongXiao comes with a layer of
dark burgundy
enameled lacquer.
Note: This dongxiao is regarded as an auspicious
object, when not taken down for playing,
you just hang this flute on the wall and is believed
to having the invisible power of evicting/ expelling the evil
spirits.
