One New 6 holes DongXiao w. Root End &
Natural standard open-end U-shape mouthpiece
and has the Chinese engraving
(see pic. # 5, 6, 7)
which says --
Pointing to the pillars and expel the evils all index of luckiness
going up following the high rise of the pillars (wall).
Note: This dongxiao is regarded as an auspicious
object, when not takken down for playing,
you just hang this flute on the wall and is believed
to having the invisible power of evicting/ expelling the evil
spirits.

and this bamboo flute features naturally formed speckle, dark strips,
all over the whole body -- it is a nature beauty from the seasoned
bamboo grown in the harsh high altitude cold bamboo forests.
