1850's Jenny Lin bed

Description

1850's Jenny Lin bed.
Walnut Jenny Lin bed bought in Virginia in 1966. Accommodates a modern double mattress (nominal size 54" x 75"). Bed frame inside length is ~76" and outside side rail to side rail width is 52 1/8" (see photos). Bed was used as a double where the mattress sat on top of the side rails. Actual width of a double box spring is 52 3/4" (see photo) so the side rail overhang was only ~1/4" each side. (For local pickup only Mahomet, IL. )
